Morgan Freeman introduces honoree Judith Jamison at the 22nd Kennedy Center Honors in 1999.

After her biography is shown on screen Bill Cosby (1998 honoree) comes on stage to pay tribute to Judith (but he does not offer her a glass of wine) with some humorous words. Walter Cronkite introduces dancer Dwana Adiaha Smallwood, a member of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Company, performs Cry, Jamison’s signature role.
