Tamia Marilyn Hill known professionally as Tamia, is a Canadian born singer-songwriter. Tomorrow written by Carvin Lawrence Winans and Deborah Kerr Winans and appears on her third studio album More (2004).  It was originally scheduled (and titled Still) for a 2003 release but was later delayed due to Tamia’s multiple sclerosis diagnosis. Tamia peformed to the song a few years earlier and performed it in 2001 on the BET. Travis Scott stopped by the Saturday Night Live stage to serve as the long-running late-night program’s latest musical guest. For his performance, he decided to deliver live rendition of recently released songs from his Astroworld album. He brought some friends to perform with him such as John Mayer and Kevin Parker. One of the few pro-shot concerts of legendary musician Fela Kuti with his band Africa 70, playing for the jazz festival in Berlin, 1978. Fela was a social activist and leader who fought for freedom and justice in Nigeria. He died in 1997. Continue reading

Alabaster Box is the 1999 album by award winning gospel artist CeCe Winans.  This was the first album on Winans’ own label, Wellspring Gospel (later renamed Puresprings Gospel). Winans described the album as an “experimental” album for the label before any new artists were signed. Continue reading
