Kendrick Lamar Duckworth, known professionally as Kendrick Lamar, is an American rapper and songwriter. He embarked on his musical career as a teenager under the stage name K-Dot, releasing a mixtape that garnered local attention and led to his signing with indie record label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE).
Kendrick Lamar has shared a new 7-minute short film titled God Is Gangsta, featuring To Pimp a Butterfly tracks u and For Sale? (Interlude). The u segment, directed by Jack Begert, features Lamar heavily drinking and rapping, while the For Sale? part, directed by PANAMÆRA, and filmed at Silencio, David Lynch’s nightclub in Paris.
