9/11/15 O&A NYC With WaleStylez- Fashion: Air Jordan 10 Retro OVO Summit White/Metallic Gold-White Release Tomorrow

This is the “OVO” edition of the Air Jordan 10 Retro. They come in a summit white, metallic gold and white colorway. Featuring a white-based leather upper with stingray accents, gold branding, a full icy translucent outsole with gold flakes throughout and OVO branding on the insoles and bottom of the outsole. The “OVO” edition of the Air Jordan 10 Retro will release on September 12, 2015 at select stores worldwide. Retail is set at, $225. Stores in NewYork include Alumni, KithNyc, ExtraButter and Flight23 at Footaction.

The White Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle is at Jordan Flight23 store on July 25th. The only problem is that it will be close to impossible to grab a pair unless you know people in high places or you live in the right place and you may have some luck on your side with the raffle placed on Monday and Tuesday. Retail is set to be $400 for White Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle”. GOOD LUCK!

Kevin Durant’s childhood dream of being a meteorologist has been a factor in the numerous colorways throughout his association with Nike. Now the What The KD 7 is back to reference a total of 18 different releases throughout 2014 and 2015 in one sneaker. It starts with the generous use of 3M material on this special edition Nike KD 7. Further references to his childhood are the midfoot straps that pay homage to his Aunt Pearl. The sneaker will release on Saturday June 20, 2015.

Nike’s experimental branch Nike Lab teams up with premium retailer Dover Street Market on the classic Air Jordan 1. Using the iconic silhouette as the base, the sneaker has been given a patent leather upper in navy, featuring a slight iridescent treatment. Nike continues to release new colorways of their recently introduced Huarache NM silhouette. This time around we get the sneaker in all-red, a trend spearheaded by the unreasonably popular Nike Air Yeezy 2 among the Swoosh’s most interesting designs as of late, the familiar Huarache heel cage and neoprene upper is offset by thick rope laces for a decidedly contemporary aesthetic. Look for the Nike Huarache NM “Red” to hit select retailers on May 30.

Parra an Amsterdam-based Dutch artist, is presenting Yer So Bad- his series of new works at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery January 8 through February 7, 2015. Yer So Bad showcases a continuation of Parra’s witty and salacious post-pop imagery. Titled after the Tom Petty song, Yer So Bad, which tells the story of a girl who marries a “yuppie” and takes him for all he’s worth, this exhibition features the artist’s signature hybrid figures and freeform typography in works on canvas and paper. Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving is the newest member of the Nike Basketball signature sneaker family. Nike designer Leo Chang created the sneaker for Irving’s tremendous speed and quickness on the court. The three design elements that distinguish the Kyrie 1: the Nike Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot for added responsiveness, 360-degree grip around the midsole and a Hyper fuse upper for stability.
