Jeff Koons has recently placed his 45-foot-tall Seated Ballerina sculpture in New York City’s Rockefeller Center. The inflatable structure is part of the acclaimed artist’s Antiquity series and was inspired by a porcelain figurine, as per a press release statement.
The colorful piece made in collaboration with Kiehl’s is intended to raise awareness for National Missing Children’s Month this May. The nylon artwork is available for public viewing up until June 2,2017.
