The Harlem Arts Alliance presented a special monthly meeting celebrating the Harlem community’s contribution to dance. The forum, which took place on Monday April 4, acknowledged the contributions of women of color to the advancement of the art form. Elisa Monte Dance presented a three-day season at the Ailey Citicorp Theater Thursday, May 15 through Saturday, May 17. The company offered four works by company member Joe Celej, Associate Artistic Director Tiffany Rea-Fisher and Artistic Director Elisa Monte.
