BMW has shown a concept for its upcoming 8 Series Coupe. This flagship model pays homage to the 8 Series Coupe from the 1990s, blending both luxury and sportiness in a swoopy GT package.
This two-door coupe features an aggressive exterior design with a long sloping hood complete with a muscular power bulge and twin kidney grilles flanked by angular laser headlights.
The car’s rear features a long sloping window flowing into a short bootlid featuring a small integrated spoiler, wrap-around brakelights, and trapezoid exhaust tips.
Some other interesting touches are the red colour contrasting stitching that adds a sporty element to the interior and a gearshift lever made from Swarovski glass.
This model is expected to be released in 2018 where it will compete against the likes of the Mercedes S-Class Coupe and the Lexus LC.
