Fast 8 (alternatively known as Fast & Furious 8 or Furious 8) is an upcoming 2017 American action film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan. It is the eighth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. The cast currently consists of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Lucas Black, Scott Eastwood, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham and Charlize Theron.

Suicide Squad is a 2016 American superhero film based on the DC Comics antihero team of the same name. Written and directed by David Ayer and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is the third installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film stars an ensemble cast featuring Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne. In Suicide Squad, a secret government agency led by Amanda Waller recruits imprisoned super villains to Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, execute dangerous black ops missions and save the world from a powerful threat in exchange for clemency.
