The legend Barrington Levy just did a collaboration with Supreme. Its an honor within the culture of reggae. Levy was born in Clarendon, Jamaica. He formed a band called the Mighty Multitude, with his cousin, Everton Dacres; the pair released My Black Girl in 1977. Levy established his solo career the next year with A Long Time Since We Don’t Have No Love; though the single was a failure, the fourteen-year-old was a popular performer at Jamaican dancehalls. As previewed by Nike, the Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 is set to release for the Spring 2016 season. Utilizing the classic Air Max 98 runner silhouette, the shoe mixes cushioned midsoles, metallic mesh uppers and reflective details all over. Four colorways include classic Supreme red, navy, an all-black model, and a snakeskin version, while an accessory running hat featuring Dri-FIT technology will also drop to coincide with the release.

The sneaker and hat will drop exclusively online April 28 and in Japan on April 29; the Supreme NY, LA, London and Paris shops WILL NOT receive this collection in-stores.

Supreme recently launched its SS16 campaign in stores and online, and just one week after the online launch, fans are treated with the customary seasonal Vans collaboration – and this one might be the cleanest one in recent memory.

Opting for the Vans Era this time around, Supreme chooses four tonal options with white contrast stitching on the upper and the signature Motion logo wrapping the sole of the shoes. The Supreme and Vans Era Motion Logo Pack releases on Thursday, March 3rd at Supreme chapter stores in NY, Los Angeles, and London as well as on the website supremenewyork.com. A Tokyo in-store release is scheduled for Saturday, March 5th.
