A new Dead Island 2 character teaser trailer has been dropped. Posted on the game’s official Twitter page, the teaser reveals essential background information on Ryan, one of the six playable characters in the new game.Including Ryan, only three characters have been officially revealed in a Meet The Slayers trailer format so far, with the first being stuntman Jacob, followed by Amy, an athlete.
Dead Island 2 was previously slated for a February 2023 release date, but due to developmental delays, its launch has been pushed back. The new official launch date is confirmed to be April 28, 2023, and will be published by Deep Silver.The game is currently open for pre-order for PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Playstation 5 and PlayStation 4.
