Jordan Brand is trying something new with the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit though, taking the 1985 icon and revamping it with woven Flyknit tooling throughout in the classic combination of black and red that was subsequently banned from the NBA and gave Nike and MJ even more of a platform to sell shoes.
The Jordan 1 Flyknit Banned proves to be rather premium too thanks to additional leather tongue tags with a unique 1985 logo on the inner lining. The Wings logo also gets an all-red treatment in leather while a traditional midsole adds some weight to the lighter rendition of the Banned 1s. This pair will be available September 9,2017 for $180.
