Brooklyn native Joan Alexandra Molinsky known by her stage name Joan Rivers, is an actress, comedian, writer, producer and television host. Rivers is best known for her stand-up comedy, co-hosting the E!  celebrity fashion show Fashion Police. Rivers and her daughter Melissa are also stars of the reality series with Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?

 Joan Rivers- A Piece Of Ass is a spoof video sex tape with rapper Ray J. The skit was a spoof on the Kim Kardashian/ Ray J sex tape that propelled Kardashian to reality show stardom.

Joan Rivers returned to The Tonight Show hot seat with new host Jimmy Fallon after being banned from the NBC show for 26 years. In 1983 Rivers earned a permanent guest hosting spot on Tonight during Johnny Carson’s reign. After she left in 1986 for her own FOX late-night program, Carson declared the comedian “banned, banned, banned” from ever appearing on the show ever again. Leno honored this condition during his hosting stint.

On February 17, 1965 Rivers made her first appearance on The Tonight Show with new host Johnny Carson.

Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work is a 2010 documentary film about the life and career of comedian Joan Rivers. The film premiered at the San Francisco International Film Festival at the Castro Theatre on May 6, 2010. The film follows Joan Rivers for 14 months and made an effort to “peel away the mask” and expose the struggles, sacrifices and joy of living life as a ground breaking female performer.
