Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes were one of the most popular Philadelphia soul groups of the 1970s. The group’s repertoire included soul, R&B, doo-wop, and disco. Bad Luck (1975) the disco/R&B/pop single was a number one Disco/Dance hit for eleven weeks. The song also help establish Teddy Pendergrass as the break out artist.
