The Nike Christmas Pack, Nike Basketball’s annual holiday will be available to the public on December 26th. The three shoe set includes the Nike KD 7, Nike Lebron 12 and Nike Kobe 9 Elite. Ranging from $170 t0 $225 the set honors the holidays with color and fun.  

Nike KD 7 Christmas

The shoe features clean Ivory on the front of the sneaker and the midsole features “nutmeg” colored speckles to offset the vibrant Bright Crimson that occupies that rest of the model. Holiday green can be found on the KD tongue branding.  The retail price is $170.

Nike Lebron 12 Christmas

The Hyperposite overlay gets a rather literal tree print while that championed Megafuse base utilizes the most Dark Emerald of any of three Nike Basketball Christmas collection pairs. Bright Crimson on the branding, lining, and speckled midsole helps to make this pair one of the best LeBron Christmas looks yet. The Nike Lebron 12 Christmas retails for $220.

Nike Kobe 9 Elite Christmas

Nike Kobe 9 Elite stands out with Bright Crimson with the flyknit upper while a unique pattern arrives on the midsole to offset the sparse greens found on the heel stitching and insole. At a retail price of $225 the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Christmas is a slam dunk.

J Dilla’s estate pay homage to the missed hip-hop beat maker with a 7.5″-tall vinyl toy made in collaboration with Detroit artist Sintex. The toy was designed and sculpted by Seoul-based toy artist P2PL. Stussy’s logo officially licensed the figurine, which comes with a removable hat, chain and MPC sampler. Continue reading

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving is the newest member of the Nike Basketball signature sneaker family. Nike designer Leo Chang created the sneaker for Irving’s tremendous speed and quickness on the court. The three design elements that distinguish the Kyrie 1: the Nike Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot for added responsiveness, 360-degree grip around the midsole and a Hyper fuse upper for stability. The Chuck Taylor All Star iconic Converse sneaker has been given a jaw-dropping woven upper in a design, that unfortunately is  exclusive to the Asia Pacific market. The new rendition features a one-piece upper crafted from colored strips, offset against a clean white midsole and leather branding. The Asia Pacific region “Color Weave” collection are now available at Converse stores in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea; and online at Converse China. Hopefully they will find their way to the United States.

Bulgarian artist Simeon Georgiev unveils his latest installment of robotics featuring influential designer Rick Owens. Challenged with recreating the fashion designer’s flowing hair and trim physique, Georgiev outfitted the monochromatic droid with cables for hair and an asymmetric chain running through the torso. The robot’s footwear, meanwhile, takes the form of a futuristic version of the Paris-based designer’s famed Ramones silhouette. Continue reading

Earlier this year Pharrell Williams released his first i am OTHER collaboration with Uniqlo UT. After it’s affordable success, it’s no surprise that a second drop has just arrived in time for fall. Similar to the first collection, it consists largely of graphic T-shirts, this time with the seasonal addition of printed hoodies and snap-front jackets. The range features adaptations of some of the original T-shirt designs, now seen in different colors. And the trademark logos and slogans are showcased throughout the selection of garments in a variety of colors. Stop by the Uniqlo website to purchase the pieces, or alternatively buy them in-store.
