10/9/23 O&A NYC HOLLYWOOD MONDAY: Cooley High

Set in 1964 Chicago, Cooley High is a slice-of-life tale of high school students coping with the challenges of everyday life and growing up in the shadows of the housing projects.

Preach (Glynn Turman, “Five on the Black Hand Side”) and “Cochise” (Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs, TV’s “Welcome Back Kotter”) are two black high school students — and best friends — who see their lives irrevocably changed by tragic circumstance in this dramatic comedy. “Cooley High” also stars Garrett Morris (“How To Beat The High Cost of Living”) and Jackie Taylor (“Barbershop 2: Back in Business”).
