The GEL-Lyte III Midnight Tokyo is the latest collaboration between from Japan’s Atmos and ASICS. The sneaker pays tribute to the over the top neon nights in the city of Tokyo.

Inspired by the bright and colorful lights of a Tokyo night, the bold look for the GEL-Lyte III features a rainbow-colored reflective material on the toe and quarter panels, while the overlayin black panels also get a reflective “rain” graphic motif.The Atmos and ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Midnight Tokyo” will release exclusively at Atmos on October 29th.

Geoffrey Holder’s Banda dance debuted in the 1954 Truman Capote/Harold Arlen musical House Of Flowers. Holder the Baron of The Cemetery (based on the Haitian Loa of Death Baron Samedi) and received both a performer and choreographer credit in the program. But there are at least three more present and future stars in the scene. As Carmen enters the club, the stunning woman with the pony-tail is famous beauty/dancer Carmen De Lavallade.
